Eligible Events Information
Feb. 13th, 2021 02:00 pmfaneve_modIn order for an event to be included in this calendar, it must meet six requirements. All events must:
( 1) Have a stable, publicly-available, online community or collection where the scope/rules/schedule can be found. ) ( 2) Have run to completion in the last calendar year and/or have a posted or on-going schedule for the current calendar year. )( 3) Have a mod/mods that did not go MIA during the running of the event. )( 4) Have a set schedule (or a past set schedule, for estimated dates.) )( 5) NOT have excessive content restrictions unrelated to the theme of the event ) ( 6) NOT be run with intention to exclude/bully/harass either groups of fans or specific named fans, OR be promoting hate in other ways )02-13-2021

This calendar is a set of estimated dates intended to help people plan their participation in or running of fanwork events throughout the upcoming year. It will be updated based on the information that is publicly available for each event BEFORE the event begins, and it contains links to each event's communities/AO3 collections (when available.) Generally, this calendar is for annual or biannual events, and will not include flash exchanges due to their unpredictable schedules.
The calendar is NOT intended to be a last stop for any event. It will not reflect if a collection opening is delayed due to the mod's RL/pinch hit delays/AO3 buggery/etc., and it does not provide accurate timezone information for ANY event. If you find yourself running out of time and need to check the exact hour of a deadline, DO NOT USE THIS CALENDAR. All the dates in this calendar assume events start/end at the midnight hour in the EST timezone, but it is your responsibility to check the community information to find out what timezone the mods operate in and what that means for you.
This calendar also does not endorse any particular fandom, event, or mod. If you would like to add an event to this calendar, please check that it is eligible (Eligible Events Information) and submit the event information through the provided form. You may also choose to email the mod at fanwork.events.calendar@gmail.com if you prefer.
