What the Calendar Is and Is Not:
A Guideline Versus an Absolute

This calendar is a set of estimated dates intended to help people plan their participation in or running of fanwork events throughout the upcoming year. It will be updated based on the information that is publicly available for each event BEFORE the event begins, and it contains links to each event's communities/AO3 collections (when available.) Generally, this calendar is for annual or biannual events, and will not include flash exchanges due to their unpredictable schedules.

The calendar is NOT intended to be a last stop for any event. It will not reflect if a collection opening is delayed due to the mod's RL/pinch hit delays/AO3 buggery/etc., and it does not provide accurate timezone information for ANY event. If you find yourself running out of time and need to check the exact hour of a deadline, DO NOT USE THIS CALENDAR. All the dates in this calendar assume events start/end at the midnight hour in the EST timezone, but it is your responsibility to check the community information to find out what timezone the mods operate in and what that means for you.

This calendar also does not endorse any particular fandom, event, or mod.
